What therapy modalities does Lotus Rose Counseling use?
Our therapists are trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Self-Compassion techniques. We match the approach to your specific needs.
Do you offer both in-person and telehealth therapy?
Yes. Most of our therapists see clients in-person at our Orem office. Brynnlee Brunt offers telehealth-only sessions, and other therapists may offer telehealth depending on availability. Ask during your free consultation.
What's the difference between EMDR and ART?
Both use eye movements to process trauma, but they work differently. EMDR helps your brain reprocess traumatic memories over multiple sessions. ART uses voluntary image replacement to change how distressing memories are stored — often producing results in 1-5 sessions. Your therapist can help determine which is right for you.
